The goal of the Curriculum Ballet program is to provide young dancers with a solid technical foundation in preparation for possible professional careers. To that end, we ask that students commit to the entire nine-month program. We ask that all students and their parents read and follow the TPB policies and guidelines as stated in the Student Handbook. Students may be dismissed for failure to adhere to standards set forth in the Handbook.
REGISTRATION
All students interested in participating in curriculum levels I through V MUST attend the placement audition. A $15 non-refundable fee is due with Registration Form. Please mark the box on the Registration Form indicating your performance desires as well as including the requested insurance information. PAYMENT
The Curriculum Ballet Program has four different options for payment:
Checks, cash, VISA, and Mastercard are accepted. A $20 fee will be charged for each returned check and for monthly payments received after the 10th. A Family Discount of 5% will be applied to tuition fees when 2 or more children are enrolled in Curriculum Ballet classes at TPB. Excused absences due to illness or injury may be made up in a lower level. No refunds. Tuition payments are NOT tax deductible as a charitable donation.
CLASS ATTIRE
ALL students are required to wear the leotard for their level to each class. Leotard style numbers and colors will be sent with your placement letter and can be purchased in retail stores. In addition, girls wear pink tights and pink ballet slippers (full-sole: Pre-Ballet thru Level Four ) and men wear black tights and white ballet slippers.
PERFORMING OPPORTUNITIES
All full-time students with excellent attendance are invited to participate in the December production of La Boutique Fantasque and the end-of-the-year recital. Older students in Levels Four and up may audition for the youth company.
