Why You Are Important
The Portland Ballet provides over 150 young dancers the most comprehensive ballet training and performing experience available in the area, including master classes by world-renown dance luminaries as well as opportunities to perform professional choreography in local theaters. Your contribution allows us to provide scholarships to those qualified students who could not otherwise afford to participate.
The Portland Ballet is home for Portland’s rich community of professional dance teachers, affording them a quality academy in which to share their talents with the next generation of dancers. Your support helps provide a living wage for these artists.
The Portland Ballet’s Community Outreach projects entertain and educate children and adults in schools, community venues, and senior citizen centers. Your donation helps provide an opportunity to individuals who might not otherwise be able to see live art performance.
