Stars and Stripes

MEMORIAL WEEKEND

The Portland Ballet Youth Company's production of George Balanchine's exuberant Stars and Stripes, with music by John Philip Sousa, marches into PCC Sylvania's state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center Memorial Day Weekend. With performances Friday/Saturday, May 24 & 25 at 7 PM, the 90-minute program includes Petipa's comic Don Quixote, Dolin/Perrot's virtuosic Pas de Quatre and Josie Moseley's deeply moving Holocaust remembrance, When I Close My Eyes.
