La Boutique Fantasque, TPB's cornerstone, kicks off Portland's vibrant holiday performing arts season with its weekend performances at the Newmark Theatre. In the midst of the Thanksgiving Parades and Pioneer Square Christmas Tree Lighting, the performances feature not only the youth company members but talented students from the academy. Last year Portland State University Orchestra lead by Conductor Ken Selden joined forces with TPB to bring live music to the production. The partnership was so successful that the two organizations have decided to repeat the holiday collaboration annually.
