Program Description

Each August, The Portland Ballet is recruits 6-10 year old girls & 8-12 year old boys for entry level Curriculum Ballet starting in September.  Sign up for this free introductory series in preparation for our fall enrollment and find out why TPB is Portland's premiere center for nurturing, student-centered, ballet technique. Students who attend the free series do not need to attend the curriculum placement audition; instead an entry level spot will be reserved in the Curriculum Ballet program. Students must attend full series; space is limited, register early. Call (503) 452-8448 or email michelle@theportlandballet.org to sign-up. Registration begins May 14, 2012. Classes are separated in to Boys and Girls classes.

Boys Beginning Ballet

Program Description

The purpose of the Beginning Ballet Series is to introduce young dancers to the beginning fundamentals of ballet with goal of helping the student determine if ballet is right for them.

Registration

Parents who wish to register their children must complete a registration form. Registration Begins May 14, 2012. Register early, as class size is limited.  Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment may be cancelled.

Dress Code

Girls: Pink tights, pink ballet shoes and leotard of any color.
